¡Explore el Himalaya! Spanish Language Audio Tours

Explore Himalayan art in Spanish! The Rubin Museum of Art is now offering Spanish language Audio Tours for Spanish-speaking audiences of all ages. Through our tours, visitors will encounter ancient cultures and religions and an exquisite collection of Himalayan art.

Please note: The museum is open Monday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Closed Tuesdays.

 

¡Explore el Himalaya! Audioguias en español

Explora el arte de las Himalayas en Espanol! El Rubin Museum of Art ahora ofrece audioguias en Espanol para hispanohablantes de todas las edades. A traves de nuestros tours/ nuestras guias, los visitantes del museo conoceran culturas y religions antiguas y una collection exquisita/grandiosa de arte de las Himalayas.

El museo abre los lunes y jueves de 11 am a 5 pm, los miércoles de 11:00 a.m. a 7:00 p.m., los viernes de 11:00 a.m. a 10:00 p.m. y los sábados y domingos de 11:00 a.m. a 6:00 p.m.. El museo cierra los martes.

 

Tibetan Language Tours

Led by a Tibetan-born museum guide, Tibetan language tours lead participants through a thematic exploration of Himalayan Art offered from a Tibetan perspective. Visitors will encounter traditional thangkas and sculptures while learning about the significant contribution of Tibetan art from the Himalayan region.

  • The museum is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.

  • Gallery admission is free every Friday from 6-10 p.m.
  • Gallery admission is free for seniors (65 and older) on the first Monday of every month.
