Adult Education

RMA offers a range of classes, workshops, films, and performances based on the art and culture of the Himalayas. These programs, led by friendly and knowledgeable staff, allow adults of all ages to explore the distinctive cultures, shared values, and individual identities of the Himalayan region while developing knowledge, nourishing the imagination, and inspiring wonder. Auspicious Stitches is a free weekly workshop for adults. The group works on individual and collaborative projects using embroidery, appliqué, and other fiber arts inspired by the RMA collection.

The RMA Docent Program is dedicated to providing RMA visitors with an engaging and informative experience, leading visitors in an active exploration of Himalayan art through inquiry, clear and consistent presentations, and themes based on the docents' own interests and backgrounds.

BRAINWAVE brings thinkers from multiple disciplines to sit down with scientists to wrap our minds around the things that matter.
