About the Speaker
Euan Cameron studied at Oxford and taught in universities in England for many years. Since 2002 he has been Henry Luce III Professor of Reformation Church History at Union Theological Seminary in New York, where he also served as Dean of the Faculty from 2004 to 2010. He is the author of a number of works on religious history, including Interpreting Christian History: The Challenge of the Churches’ Past (2005), Enchanted Europe: Superstition, Reason and Religion 1250-1750 (2010) and The European Reformation (2nd ed., 2012). He is an active member of the Episcopal Church of the USA.
