The stand-by list becomes available at the admissions desk exactly two (2) hours before the start of the program.  You must be physically present to sign up on the list.  Any available tickets will be released to the stand-by list, in order, beginning ten minutes before the start of the program. Each person can purchase up to two tickets.  You must be physically present at the time your name is called or your place in line will be forfeited.  Unfortunately, we are unable to predict how many tickets, if any, may become available.

Janis Ian was a musical child prodigy, picking up her father’s battered guitar at age 10 and publishing her first song to rock the nation at age 14.  Despite being initially banned by radio stations for being too “subversive”, Society’s Child quickly went to #1 and Ian joined the ranks of fellow icons, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.

In 2008, Janis reached another pinnacle in her career, releasing her long-awaited autobiography: Society's Child. With her short stories, songs for film and television and her scholarship foundation for returning students that has raised over $300,000, Janis Ian is a formidable talent, a force of nature.
