In this four-part poetry workshop, the visual landscapes of the Modernist Art from India: Radical Terrain exhibition will inspire participants to write and share poems together in a seminar format. Each week, the class will visit the museum’s galleries and write in the immediacy and atmosphere of the art. See what poetic images are called forth through experiments with prompts, shapes, and the relationship between the visual and the written. Join in the exploration of this radical terrain!
No experience necessary. All materials included. Registration is required, as space is limited.

About the Instructor
Amy Hosig is a poet who received her M.F.A. in poetry from New York University where she is currently a Senior Language Lecturer of writing. She has finished a collection of poems entitled Sea Cave and is currently writing an epic poem. She has deep reverence for the art and work of the Rubin Museum.
**Cancellation Policy**
Requests for cancellation made at least one week prior to the first class will be refunded for the full amount. Requests made within one week and prior to 48 hours before the first class will be refunded for ½ of the total amount paid. Requests made within 48 hours of the first class will not be refunded.
