Mike Chico

"Through my jobs I've made friends with numerous people that I've met on the street.  I don't even know some of their names but still enjoy talking to them--everyone in this city has a story to tell."

Mike Chico is a single, 56 year old gay man who threw a few things into a paper bag when he was 20, left home, and moved to New York City.  It's now been 36 years since he first arrived in the city, 34 of them in his current rent stabilized apartment.  He's been working as a visiting super for 32 years taking care of a number of brownstones in the Village.

Michael Marsman, L.C.S.W. is a psychotherapist both in private practice and at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, a clinic serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community.  Michael is currently training to be a Jungian Analyst at the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association's training institute.
