This sacred music concert, celebrating Cambodian lunar New Year, travels throughout the museum incorporating instrumental Mahori and Pin Peat, and funereal Smot chanting. 

3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Part one: New Year’s blessing by monks (in the spiral lobby)

Part two: Three short concerts including Smot, Pleng Arak, and Pleng Kar (throughout the galleries)

Part three: Final concert, Pleng Peak, with Q&A to follow in the theater.
(Due to limited theater capacity, advance tickets for Part Three are now sold out)

Admission to the galleries is included in ticket purchase.

  • Tuesday: Closed
  • Wednesday: 11 a.m – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: 11 a.m – 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m – 6 p.m.

  • The museum is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.

  • The Café and the Shop are open during the museum hours.
