Transformation is a documentary that follows the evolution of the Rubin Museum of Art from a dream of the museum’s founders, Shelley and Donald Rubin, into a public institution. The film captures the thoughts and ideas of the Rubin’s and key staff members, architects, graphic designers and exhibition designers as they worked together to build the museum and culminates with the opening celebration in October 2004.
