Verbal Description and Touch Tour
For people who are blind or partially sighted

February 9, 2012 - February 9, 2014
Every Month @ 2:00 PM

The Rubin Museum offers Verbal Description and Touch Tours for visitors who are blind or partially sighted. Free including museum admission, these tours are 90 minutes in length and take visitors on a journey that weaves together the culture, history, religion, and art of the Himalayas.

Join Museum Guides who are experienced in leading highly descriptive verbal description and touch tours throughout the gallery floors. The tours present visitors with close, careful descriptions of works of art and allow participants to form visualizations of the pieces and touch objects, including sculpture, art materials, woodblocks, and ritual implements.

Reservations are required, as space is limited. Call Group Reservations at 212.620.5000 x345 or e-mail reservations@rmanyc.org to reserve a spot.
