Accessibility at the Rubin Museum

The Rubin Museum of Art welcomes all visitors. In addition to meeting the standards of physical accessibility, the museum also offers events and programs to accommodate all audiences on a regular basis.

Our facility is equipped for low mobility guests Verbal Description and Touch tours are available Large Print Labels Are Available Verbal Description and Touch Tours Assistive Listening Devices are available Tours in ASL are given monthly

  • Parking
  • There is a 24-hour parking lot on the corner of 17th Street and 6th Avenue. In addition, there are parking garages along 17th Street going towards Union Square.

  • Monday: 11 a.m – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Closed
  • Wednesday: 11 a.m – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: 11 a.m – 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m – 10 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m – 6 p.m.

  • The museum is closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day.

  • The Café and the Shop are open during the museum hours.

  • Adults - $10.00
  • Seniors 65+ - $5.00
  • Students 13+ - $5.00
  • Children (12 and younger) - Free
  • Museum members - Free
  • Gallery admission is free every Friday from 6-10 p.m.
  • Gallery admission is free for seniors (65 and older) on the first Monday of every month.
